I got my MBA from a rather relaxed program and did get the stamp, and was trained in certain competencies, but the networking is not what I needed. I know that some other schools, while they may have excellent programs, are most valuable because of the networking opportunities. It may not seem important at the time, but a few years out of school wouldn't it be cool to have a school network that you can call on, with people that are incredibly successful and powerful? You will get that out of some schools, while others absolutely don't offer it (because of the type of students they bring in). Definitely something to think about before you choose which school to go to.
