I am quitting my job
That is right. I have been planning to do so for a couple of weeks, but now it is official. The reason is quite simple, I want to walk with my own legs.
As a consequence I am moving back to Brazil to live with my parents (not a shame considering I am 22, but I have been living by myself for the past 4 years so I will certainly need to re-adapt).
In the near future I am planning to start my company, but I can not get into much detail right now. Hopefully I will also be able to get someone to sponsor Innovation Zen since I will increase my dedication towards the blog as well.
Anyway, next week I will write a longer post describing what influenced my decision and why I think other people should also consider quitting their jobs. Stay tuned!

Acho bom tentar sorte agora, depois um fica acustumado a ganhar um salário mais alto e nao resulta fácil abrir mao disso. Succesos no teu emprendimento.
This kind of decision takes guts. Corporate life has many upsides (steady income, easy to get a mortgage, predictable time off), but it can still be toxic place. Its not an easy path, but for some of us its the only one that feels right.
Good for you! I quit my job once to start up a distribution business. It wasn’t successful and I had to go back to corporate life since cash was running out fast. I’m now saving, investing and getting a couple of grants to start another business. I admire your guts, and good luck to you.
Tomas, valeu pelo apoio.
John, I agree with you, some people just do not fit inside corporations.
Peter, thanks for the support also, I am looking forward to seeing what you will come up with in your next venture!
Fala biri, blz?
Meu, vc mandou o email pra Diana? e ai, o q eles responderam,..
Abraços e boa sorte ae.
Good luck, Daniel. It’s great to see people having the guts to make such a move. Keep up with the blog. I am a dedicated reader and find your posts informative, intelligent and inspiring to read.

To John above:
It takes guts ? He’s only 22 - He probably doesn’t have a wife, kids and mortgage. Quitting your job when you’re 22 is easy.
Quitting a well-paid job when you’re 35 , married with kids and a mortgage… *that* takes guts.
Walter, I agree. The reason you used also influenced my decision.
